The sales process at the Putra Wringin store is still carried out in the traditional way through manual recording. Recording with a manual system is less efficient because it requires a large number of books and orders must be entered into the book manually. This can also cause errors in entering/recording sales data. Reporting takes a long time because you have to find and collect the required data from the records in the book. In this study, it is proposed to develop a POS (Point of Sale) application to overcome existing problems and allow shop work activities to run smoothly. The method used in this POS system is the waterfall method. The Waterfall method is a method for developing software sequentially (such as waterfall), which goes through several stages, namely planning, design, implementation and testing. The results of the application development show that the point-of-sale (POS) system can facilitate Toko Putra Wringin in recording, calculating, documenting and selling information for aggregate sales management and reporting.
